Traits: Becoming the Family We Are
Families are complicated. Each one of us has our own unique story and experience of what family is. For some of us family means a beautiful expression of love. For others, it means being wronged or people never showing up. For many of us, family means waiting for dreams and desires that are yet to be realized. With all of this complication, it can be difficult to understand the consistent image of the people of God throughout the Bible as a “family”. Every family has its own traits that set it apart in its own unique way. The church family is no different. Over the next few weeks, we will search and study the breadth of the Bible to find the “traits” that define the people of God and learn what these traits have to say about the church family we all belong to. Join us on the journey.
