Purpose Statement

Our Adult Ministries at Lake Avenue Church provides opportunities and communities for spiritual growth where hurts are healed, where friendships are developed, where authentic relationships are built, where marriages are strengthened, families are bonded, where singles are valued, where love is alive, where God is understood, and where Jesus Christ is Lord. This occurs through weekend classes, small groups, activities, retreats and joining together in reaching out in serving those within our community and world.

Our goal is to help people to do three things here at Lake Avenue Church

Lake Avenue Church desires for everyone to be involved in serving others. Matthew 20:26 & 28 (Living Bible), “Anyone wanting to be a leader among you must be your servant. And if you want to be right at the top, you must serve like a slave. Your attitude must be like My own. For I did not come to be served, but to serve.”
