A discipleship mentoring relationship is simply one in which we are walking alongside another person, being intentional about growing in our faith together, and in our love for Jesus and His people, to reach toward being complete in who we are in Christ (Ephesians 4:13)

Mentor
It would mean coming alongside someone else in order to provide encouragement, advice, guidance or teaching that will help them to mature in their relationship with Christ. Lake Ave has resources available to assist in mentoring relationships.
Qualifications
Be a committed follower of Jesus, be willing to invest some time, and be willing to share life and life experiences with someone.
Mentee
It would mean that someone else would come alongside you, in order to provide you with some encouragement, advice, guidance or teaching that will help you mature in your relationship with Christ.
Qualifications
Be willing to meet with someone else for an agreed upon length of time and be willing to share life and life experiences with that person.
