An Update on Imago Dei Preschool
Hello and greetings to our LAC community. I am delighted and excited for our Fall 2022-2023 school year. I want to start by saying THANK YOU. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our school, staff, families, and children.
Just a year ago, the idea of opening our preschool felt like a whisper. Anything louder than a whisper and it might fade away. We opened last year with only four children and we knew it would grow instantly. Weeks and months passed and yet our numbers weren’t very impressive. Doubt set in; I questioned my ability to continue this mission that was graciously bestowed upon me. Yet, I knew my faith was stronger. So as of Sept. 6, 2022, we currently have twenty-five families!
Our preschool is where it is today because of so many individuals, groups in the church, and the community who have been cheering us on from the sidelines. With the help of our families,
board members, volunteers, ministry divisions, and to those helping with marketing and advertisements. It truly takes a village to raise children.
On behalf of our staff and preschool, we are grateful for you. Your love and trust in us to rebuild something new in a time when there have been so many unknowns. I hope this small testimony of our preschool solidifies how grand God really is. He is always walking besides us. He is always guiding us. He moves mountains for us. All we have to do is believe in something greater than ourselves. His mission for us is His own. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our preschool and helping us grow in the coming year!
