We offer mentor training, coaching, and ideas for helping your mentee to develop into a responsible adult. You probably have an area of interest that will inspire students! Enrichments Stars students are interested in cooking, art, music, sports, auto mechanics, sewing clothes, astronomy, financial literacy, mental wellness and many skills beyond this list! Starting ages, skill sets, and locations vary among these 10 exciting community outreach opportunities. The time commitment also varies greatly. For example the "Pick Your Brain" is a 1-2 hour session, very much an entry level opportunity to teach and answer questions on topic of your interest or expertise. The I-Graduate Coach on the other hand is a 2 year commitment but only requires 6 hours a semester. The STARS community outreach in all its various facets is about building relationships. That is why it will change your life as well as the lives of the individuals you serve. For specific information on each of these areas visit www.gostars.org or contact Miriam Tellez.
