The Bible is more than stories… it is the Biggest Story. Too often we think of it as 66 books collected together…which in fact it is, but it is so much more. The Bible reveals God’s love for lost people and his passionate desire to bring all peoples, in all times, back into relationship with him. The Bible gives us life direction not just for us but for the sake of those who don’t yet know his story.

We find the Bible is not just 66 individual books but 66 parts contributing to the grandest narrative of all. Our Creator, chose to make himself knowable through this written record where humanity can find understanding, meaning and purpose when lived out according to God’s direction. God is glorified in and through his people, which in turn, draws more people to Him for his glory. That is a very Big Story indeed! This April and May, we will survey the totality of the Bible seeing how this Big Story theme is written throughout it; from the Garden of Creation to the Garden of Gethsemane to the Garden in the New Jerusalem, God is calling us into relationship with him for his glory and for the blessing of all peoples.

  • What does this teach us about God?
  • What does this teach us about ourselves and other people?
  • How will you obey this lesson personally?
  • Who can you share these verses with today?
