At LAC there has been a long-held desire to worship all together, as one loving and believing community. This past Fall we took the faithful step to move towards one worship service on a Sunday morning at 9:30 am, with the hope of encouraging everyone to participate in the three essentials of the Christian faith: worshipping in unity, growing in grace-filled community, and serving on God’s mission. We hope that everyone dives into serve and offer their gifts here at LAC, and if you aren’t serving, we invite you after the worship service to look in the center lobby for the connecting ministry area so you can learn how to take your own next faithful step.
For this Spring, we are offering a once-a-month alternative worship time. We will meet for worship from 6 to 7:15 pm in the Warehouse (FL300) in February 6, March 6, April 10, and May 1. Each month we will highlight a core value being emphasized in the morning worship and this February we will focus on being an evangelistic community.
You’ll have an opportunity to hear how God’s story intersects with our own story and you’ll get a chance to practice sharing your story with another LAC member. Thank you Outreach Division for sponsoring the evening.
Anyone can come but in particular this service is designed for all who serve, volunteer and/or lead at LAC. Registration is no longer needed, unless you are requesting childcare. You must register online for childcare by Wednesday, Feb. 2. Keyword: thepractice
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were TOGETHER and had everything in common. They sold property
and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet TOGETHER in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate TOGETHER with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” —Acts 2:42-47
