Frank and Judy, LAC International Staff served 14 year in Africa. Due to serious health matters for Frank, they returned Stateside for treatment. What started as a three-year furlough, turned into 11 years of waiting patiently as Frank underwent vigorous treatments (with many trials and setbacks, which caused him to go on disability leave) and Judy returning to work full-time to care for the needs of their family. During this time, they continued to faithfully support the work of their brothers and sisters in Africa, while actively serving their local neighbors and community as Frank’s health allowed.

Six months ago, Frank and Judy made plans to go for a short-term trip to Africa...but God had different plans. Frank just received word in the last six months (with changes in his medication), his health has improved so dramatically, that the doctor’s have given him the green light to go back to work full-time, get off disability and even return to Africa FULL-TIME! One of the doctor’s commented that “this isn’t like a miracle, this IS a miracle!” What started out as a plan for a short visit to the country they hold so dear to their heart, has become the opportunity to move back full-time!

Frank and Judy ask for prayer, as they seek the Lord with this real possibility of moving back to Africa. They are in the process of looking for full-time employment in Africa and as they discern whether the vision God gave them about the work they never finished is to be brought to completion. God has already done a major miracle just to get them to this point with Frank’s health, so what seems impossible for man is possible with God. Let’s rejoice with this family and pray for God to open the doors if this is His will.
