Women’s Pregnancy Care Clinic is a local women’s clinic that provides wrap-around support for women in crisis. Hear some of their stories:
Stephanie did not have health insurance when she discovered she was pregnant and she did not have adequate resources to afford proper prenatal care. With a growing belly and the future unknown, she started to have second thoughts. Then she found WPCC. “I didn’t have a job or any medical coverage. Without WPCC, I don’t think I would be giving birth to this baby. In fact, I know that.” Now a mom, Stephanie now has a healthy baby girl.
Karla had a similar story of feeling alone, unprepared, and frazzled. She received a call from WPCC while she sat, sobbing in her car and heard these words: “It’s okay, come over here, we’ll take care of you. You can talk to somebody.” She immediately drove over to WPCC. Karla’s new testimony: “I have the [WPCC] clinic to thank that I had my daughter…she means everything to me.”
Maribel described her soul as “broken and depressed” when she came to WPCC. As a single parent, she had a heavy responsibility to shoulder her child’s needs, not to mention her own. After coming to WPCC, Maribel has a new story: “I came to WPCC…and for anything and everything that I [had] been going through, my support partner in the program [was] like a mother to me. This program has been the backbone through my journey of single motherhood.”
Women’s Pregnancy Care Clinic has a number of stories like these—only possible with support from partners. Your support is vital! Do you want to make a difference in the lives of local moms? Gifts of diaper bags, baby toiletries, and gender-neutral clothing are welcome. Checks can also be made payable to WPCC.
