- Why do you suppose King Belshazzar needed to be reminded about Daniel’s existence in verses 11-12? In verse 17, why did Daniel decline the honor offered him for interpreting the writing? How and why does this response seem different from Daniel’s interaction with King Nebuchadnezzar in 4:19? What has happened here through the decades?
- According to Daniel in verses 22-23 what had Belshazzar also gotten wrong? Is there a modern equivalent for these types of sins?
