- What is the message the angel gives the shepherds in Luke 2:10–12? What does it teach us about God and his purposes?
- Why do you think God sent a whole host of angels to the shepherds instead of just one as he usually does?
- In Luke 2:17, the shepherds took up the task of communicating God's message. Would you rather have an angel-messenger or a shepherd-messenger? Why?
