Hebrews 10:19–25 is a call to action together with others in our church family.
  1. In vv. 19–21, we have the basis for our action. What have all people who belong to the church of Jesus Christ experienced? When do you first remember entering the presence of God?
  2. According to v. 22, what should we do as a church family because of our ability to “enter the Most Holy Place”? Does it make a difference to do this as a community and not only as an individual?
  3. Is it important to do what we are told to do in v. 23? Why might we need others in order to do this?
  4. In v. 24, we are encouraged to “spur one another on.” This is a word for confronting or even irritating a person in order to bring about change. Our world does not seem to value this trait. Why and how should we do it?
  5. V. 25 is a call to meet together regularly. Is this important for us in the 21st-century church? Why?
  6. What is the most important lesson from this text 1) for your church family and 2) for you personally?
