- Ephesians 1:3-14 is one long sentence in the Apostle Paul's letter (mercifully broken into several sentences in most English translations) calling God's people to praise him. It is all about what God has done for "us," i.e., for those who are in his church. Whose idea was it to have a church? What has God done to make entrance into his family a possibility?
- Read Ephesians 2:1-10. How do we gain entrance into God's family, into his "workmanship" (see 2:10)?
- Read Ephesians 4:11-16. How do the members of the church grow spiritually?
- Read 1 Peter 2:9-12. How should the church live in the world?
- Read Revelation 5:1-13 and 7:9-10. Describe in your own words what this eternal gathering of God's global family will be like.
