Dr. William Washington serves as senior vice president for student affairs at Trinity International University (TIU) and dean of students at Trinity College, overseeing and providing strategic direction for all aspects of student life at the university. This past year he was honored with an endowed chair - The William O. Washington Chair of Student Leadership.
He earned his BA in History from Trinity College, his MA in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his PhD in Higher Education from Loyola University. Since 1986, he has served TIU in a variety of roles including minority advisor, assistant football coach, and associate dean. In 1996, he was appointed dean of students for the college, and in 2002, senior vice president for student affairs.
Dr. Washington currently resides in Vernon Hills with his wife, Kenna, and two of their three children, Kendra and C.J. Naomi is currently studying at Biola University.
