At Lake Avenue Church, our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus, so we can present each one complete in Christ. While we are a community that is increasingly diverse, what holds us together is the Gospel as established by the person and work of Jesus Christ.

This year our leadership has discerned that one of our priorities is "learning in community." Starting next Saturday together as a church, we will be studying the Gospel anew. Our Statement of Faith is an encapsulation of that Gospel. Our Statement of Faith curriculum, entitled "Shared Faith" will help us to learn this Gospel in fresh and exciting ways! If you are not yet in some form of community here at Lake (e.g. an adult class or small group), this is an excellent time to start.

Learning in community is significant because it often allows us to encounter God in fresh and unexpected ways when we fellowship together around the Word. But above all, it is fun! Don't miss out on these opportunities to discover together what the Gospel means.
