God's Renewing Grace
- A Nigerian brother in Christ once said, "There is a distinct difference between the Bible's and the world's way of talking about practicing love. The Bible says, 'Serve.' The world says, 'Eat!'" How does Paul discuss this in Galatians 5:13–15? If we follow the teaching in these verses, what will happen in our families, friendships, and churches?
- The presence and work of God's Spirit is an essential part of our lives together in God's family, according to Galatians 5:24–26. What will be different when we are led by the Spirit rather than led by the flesh?
- The Bible frequently acknowledges that all believers in a church family will continue to struggle with temptation and sin until Christ comes and completes work in us. What should happen when someone in the church family is caught in a sin, according to Galatians 6:1–2?
- Paul gave some final teaching about being a church family committed to restorative discipline in Galatians 6:3–5. What did he say? How would this affect our relationships with one another?
- In what ways would God have you respond personally to this passage from his Word?
