THIS WEEK

Club45 and Elementary Ministry will be combined until August 28th

We are combining all elementary students (Gr. 1-5) for worship and lessons. Drop off and pick up at Maple Street 300!

MAKE WAVES:
WHAT YOU DO TODAY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND YOU.

In week three, we jump back to 1 Samuel 18-20 and 2 Samuel 9. We dive deeper into the amazing friendship between David and Jonathan. Jonathan was a faithful friend to David when King Saul chased David and tried to kill him. David was faithful to Jonathan and kept an important promise to care for Jonathan’s family.

Bottom Line: Be faithful so others can count on you. Faithfulness will look different for each of us. Some of us will be faithful to family members who need encouragement. Others will faithfully help friends who struggle a bit. We hope kids learn that God can do some amazing things through them when they are faithful to others.

JULY OVERVIEW

We were created in God’s image. God sent Jesus to show us the best way to be human. But God knew we’d need help. That’s why God sent us the Holy Spirit. With the power of the Spirit, we can produce fruit that points others to Jesus. Every month, kids discover something about God’s character and how they can reflect or respond to that character because they are created in God’s image. You could call them characters traits or virtues, but we call them Life Apps: something that God is doing in you to change the world around you. In other words, we show the world what God is like when we demonstrate these ideas. We’re helping kids and preteens discover what the Apostle Paul called the Fruit of the Spirit throughout June and July. When we show the Fruit of the Spirit, we make waves and show others who Jesus is. .

It's time for a Family (Ministries) Vacation to the beautiful Hawaiian Islands-- come dressed like you're ready for a tour!
Selfiesticks optional, enthusiasm required.

This event is pay at the door, $10 per person which will include entrance and skate rental (and don't forget to bring some extra cash for the snack bar).
