WILLS & TRUST SEMINAR

Regardless of financial assets or season of life, everyone should have a plan to guide their affairs. LAC will be providing a two-hour seminar on wills and trusts led by Rich Chinen (Attorney) and Les Stocker (Former Interim Director of Church Operations) as they review current issues around estate planning. If you have no plan for your assets, come and learn how to create one. If you have a plan that was created several years ago, now is the time to determine if it should be upgraded or expanded.

WOMEN CONNECT SPRING EVENT

We invite all women and their guests to attend our Women Connect this spring. We are privileged to have Laurie Polich Short as our speaker. Her topic will be, “Wonder What God is Doing in Your Life?” Laurie will be sharing about faith, doubt and God’s mysterious timing, and biblical insights about the way God works. Laurie is a popular speaker, author, and part of the teaching team at Ocean Hills Covenant Church in Santa Barbara, California. A graduate of Fuller Seminary, Laurie speaks at conferences, colleges, churches, and denominational events around the country. She has been featured on PBS, Focus on the Family, RightNow Media, and more.

LAC COUNSELING CENTER RELAUNCH FUNDRAISER

What started out as a small ministry of the Adult Ministries Division is being relaunched and set up to grow. Join the Counseling Ministry Team and its reintroduction of the Lake Ave Counseling Center. Register to have dinner with counseling therapists and hear ways you can support the new center. You’ll hear about the center’s mental health resources, a vision for the future, and how it continues to provide compassionate counseling at an affordable price.

INFINITY SUMMIT: “Faith, Spirituality, and Mental Health”

The Infinity Summit is an annual conference designed to equip the Church to engage the culture in effective and respectful ways. The summit will explore the latest trends in apologetics, missional outreach, and intercultural engagement by featuring researchers, scholars, and working professionals in their respective fields. This year's theme is "Faith, Spirituality and Mental Health." Come and grow with guest speakers Dr. Sam Fraser, Dr. David Wang, and others as they talk about mental health, and challenges that we all face. A light breakfast and gourmet catered lunch will be included.
