Enjoying the rain?
While we desert people are thankful for some water we are praying for the RAIN RAIN TO GO AWAY! As we prepare for Winter Camp THIS WEEKEND!!! Join us in prayer for clear weather and a safe weekend up on the mountain.
Due to camp being this upcoming weekend we will NOT be having any youth service on Sunday. So any students who aren't coming to camp will be in the main sanctuary this Sunday.
We had an absolute blast last Wednesday as we prayed and had a dance party for the last day of our 21-day fast! We are so proud and encouraged by all the students that participated. We want to carry this culture of prayer into the next season and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night at youth group as usual. We'll be having small groups and a fun game night.
We've got some more camp info, some missions trip announcements and more below so check out what is upcoming for our minsitries.
MISSIONS: Belize!
There is a missions information meeting TONIGHT!!! Anyone of our 11th and 12th graders as well as parents that are interested should be there tonight from 7:00PM to 8:30PM in HH235 here at Lake. This meeting will go over what the trip will look like and all the logistics surrounding it so if you are interested make sure to be there!
Winter Camp!!!
We are SO CLOSE TO WINTER CAMP! Updated departure and ARRIVAL times are here below. Drop off and pick up will be in the BUS LANE of the parking lot.
02/09 - 3:00PM Meet at Lake Avenue Parking Lot
02/11 - 12:30PM Arrive at Lake Avenue Parking Lot
We've booked a 50 passenger bus to drive us safely up and down from Camp so we will be charging $50 for transportation to help cover the cost of the bus, which can be payed on the day of departure.
We want to emphasize that students MUST bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and if they can a good jacket, gloves and boots. We also suggest sleeping bags over blankets because it will be cold. We have a limited supply of sleeping bags if you are in need, let us know and we might be able to provide something for you.
• Sleeping bag • Pillow • Towel • Washcloth • Soap • Comb • Toothbrush & toothpaste • Various other toiletries • Flashlight • Casual clothing • A winter jacket, gloves and snow boots (if possible) • Bible, notebook, and pen.
Marriage Ministry Survey
We have been asked to get as many parents as we can to fill out this form from the Marriage Ministry team. They have created this survey for the families with kids in any of our childrens and students programs so that they can have a better idea of how to support and encourage all that you guys do as parents. The form will take only 3 minutes to fill out so if you would please take a second to fill it out we'd be so thankful!
