Let's Get Going!
It was great to see all the students at youth group again this past Wednesday and we are thankful to be back in business!
This past Sunday we started a 21-Day Fast with any of the students that wanted to participate. We asked them to choose one thing that they might over indulge in and cut it out of their lives for the next 21 days until February 1st. Whether it is instagram, Tiktok, sugar, or certain music we encourage you to ask your kids what they chose and how they're doing.
If you would like to participate we think it would be a great way for you to do something together with your kids. We'll be checking in with the students on Sundays and having prayer and worship focused Wednesday night youth groups while we are doing the fast. We gave each of the kids one of these pamphlets below so they can keep track of their fast and we can pray for them throughout the 21 days.
Winter Camp
Camp is not far off and we can't wait! For those asking about departure and arrival times below is all the details.
02/09 - 3:00PM Depart from Lake Avenue parking lot
02/11 - 11:30AM Depart from Camp Pondo
We've booked a 50 passenger bus to drive us safely up and down from Camp so we will be charging $50 for transportation to help cover the cost of the bus, which can be payed on the day of departure. The drive is about 2 hours so we hope to be back before 2PM on Sunday but we will keep you updated on our ETA as we return in case of traffic or unexpected delays.
It will be cold up at Camp so please make sure your kids back a sleeping bag or thick blanket, jacket, warm clothes, and anything else they might need for the cold weather. We will have a full packing list sent out later.

We still have about 9 spots left for Winter Camp so please register below if you haven't already. This is one of the best times for our students to get closer to each other and build real lasting relationships with each other but also with Jesus so we want as many of our kids up at camp as we can get. There are still scholarships available if money is an issue, just let us know!

Events to remember!
Junior/Senior Life group: A Life group for our Juniors and Seniors in High-School to hangout, talk, and fellowship together once every other week on Tuesday nights.
Winter Camp: Feb 9th through the 11th at Camp Pondo.
Reoccuring:
These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night Hangouts: 5pm-7pm in the Warehouse every Tuesday night.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
