Hello Families,
HAPPY THANKSGIVING... almost...
Okay we aren't quite there yet but TOMORROW is our Thanksgiving Potluck celebration!!! All the information is down below but please be there and bring your Family because it is for all ages. We are looking forward to hearing from you all and getting to share about our ministries upcoming plans.
Some other reminders for this week are that Tuesday Hangout is happening tonight from 5-7pm. The Junior/Senior lifegroup will not be meeting until December. We will be taking a break from events the week of Thanksgiving (20th-25th). So next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be NO Youth services. CAMP Registration is OPEN so there is a link below for you to sign up!
From Potluck and the Parent processing group to a Parent meeting and Christmas, we've got a good amount of stuff coming up so check out the details on the upcoming events down below. We are excited to start habits in this newly forming ministry that will cultivate a community of growth and intergenerational interaction and a lot of what's coming up incorporates those ideas so let us know what you can make it to and we are thankful for your participation as this ministry is as much about you parents as it is about your kids.
That's all the announcements, now on to the upcoming events and resources!

Parent Processing Group
We want to empower you parents to lead and parent well and in an effort to help with that we are starting a Parent Processing Group in partnership with the Counceling Center at Lake Avenue. This will be a space for parents to open up about the struggles, skills, hardships, and hurdles you have all gone through, and are going through, in your parenting journeys. We hope this group can be a reminder that you are not alone and a space where your testimony can be heard and encourage others.
The first Parent Processing Group meeting will be the Evening of the 29th of November just after thanksgiving. If you are interested at all, please fill out this form below so we can contact you with more information.

Parent Meeting
Our Final parent meeting of the year is coming up! On December 3rd at 11am after Church in MS 100. This parent meeting will be open to all ages of parents and we will be coming together as a family to answer any questions and give a better picture to you parents of what this next year looks like for our ministries. We hope you can all be there and are looking forward to it. Parent meetings are some of our favorite events and we cannot wait to see you there :)
Prep for Finals!
We will be having a Finals Prep Tutoring session on DEC 13th!!! This will be before on a Wednesday night before Youth group from 4:30-6:15pm in the Warehouse. All students are welcome and the gracious Scott Nishizaki is going to be the tutor. Here is a bio from him:
"Hello, my name is Scott Nishizaki. I am a former High School math teacher, having taught everything from Algebra to Calculus. In addition to these traditional classes, I have taught CAHSEE and ACT/SAT math prep. Prior to teaching I worked as a tutor at various tutoring centers, covering multiple subject areas and essay writing. While math is my primary passion, I am happy to work with students in other areas as well.
More importantly than any of that, however, is the fact that I love Jesus. While I accepted Jesus at a young age, it was my own Youth Group where I truly discovered what a relationship with Him looks like. The support of Christ followers at that formative time in my life shaped who I would become and I want to offer support to this group of students any way that I can. It is my hope that I can show these students how much Christ cares for them, by demonstrating that their Brothers and Sisters care for them"
Let us know below if you're student would be interested in getting some helping preparing for finals.
