We hope you are all doing well!
Wether you are keeping Thankfulness journals or already deep into the Christmas albums we are settling into the Holiday spirit! We have some exciting things coming up this month but also some useful resources. From Winter camp to a Parent Processing Group we are thankful for what is in store for this ministry.
Before we get into it all there are a few little announcements. First is that for the week of thanksgiving there will be no events for LASM. From Nov 20th to the 25th we will be cancelling Tuesday night hang out and Wednesday Night Life groups so that we can all celebrate Thanksgiving. Another announcement is that the Junior/Senior Life Group will NOT be meeting until December due to the host being out of town. NEXT Wednesday we are having a Potluck but there is more info on that below.

Parent Processing Group
We want to empower you parents to lead and parent well and in an effort to help with that we are starting a Parent Processing Group in partnership with the Counceling Center at Lake Avenue. This will be a space for parents to open up about the struggles, skills, hardships, and hurdles you have all gone through, and are going through, in your parenting journeys. We hope this group can be a reminder that you are not alone and a space where your testimony can be heard and encourage others.
The first Parent Processing Group meeting will be the Evening of the 29th of November just after thanksgiving. If you are interested at all, please fill out this form below so we can contact you with more information.

Potluck
NEXT WEEK!!! We want you all to come next Wednesday Night to our Family Ministries Potluck. It will be held in the Warehouse from 6:30-8:30pm and all are welcome. This will be an opportunity to eat together in community but also for you all to get to know the whole team we have here at Lake. There will be some games and some time to ask questions of our staff. If you are able to bring some food or desserts just let us know what youre bringing below. Can't wait to see you all there!

WINTER CAMP FEB 9-11th, 2024
We are excited to announce that Registration for 2024 Winter Camp Pondo is finally open! You can register below by clicking the link. This is going to be a weekend camp for Middle and High school students. These times up at camp are precious and really help form a deeper and more open and honest community here at Lake so we would encourage you all to sign your kids up. We also have some scholarships available so don't hesitate to reach out to us if there is a need. We want to get as many students as we can up to winter camp this year so let everyone know registration is open.

Prep for Finals!
We know how hard it can be for students to balance everything with school and so we are thankful that a Parent has volunteered to host Prep for Finals day at the beginning of December for any students who might need help on any subject. More info on this will be coming next week but if you think your kids could benefit from this at all just let us know by clicking the link below!

Events to remember!
Parent Meeting: Dec 3rd, 11am in the MS 100 room. A time to connect, partner with, and hear where this ministry is going.
Junior/Senior Life Group: The Junior/Senior Life will NOT be meeting for the month of November.
Reoccuring:
These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night Hangouts: 5pm-7pm in the Warehouse every Tuesday night.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
