Hello families,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Thank you all for coming to our awesome Pumpkin Palooza party last Wednesday! We are so thankful to all the volunteers from parents to the students from Maranatha, we could not have done this event without you. Congratulations to the winners of the Knotts Scary Farm tickets and all the kids who got bags full of candy! We hope you all had a blast and continue to have some great times trick or treating tonight :)
I know Halloween is on our minds but November is just around the corner and Thanksgiving is coming with it. We will be having a Family Ministries Potluck on Nov 15th and we want you all there. If you're interested you can check out all the info below. We also want to remind you all that this upcoming Sunday will be the first Sunday of November so all students will be in the main sanctuary for the service.
The Junior/Senior Life group is happening tonight as Jeff Ragusa's house so take note of that and the Tuesday Night hangout at Lake Avenue has been cancelled tonight due to it being Halloween. Finally, tomorrow night we will be having Youth group as usual but it will be our monthly Tribal Games night of fun and competition so tell your kids to come ready for some games!
Host Homes
We will be announcing our first official Host Home next week so keep an eye out for that. If you aren't aware of the idea of Host Home, we are asking the parents be available to open their houses to a small group of kids from the youth group to come and play games, learn, or have fun in whatever way you want to so that we can build a day to day style of ministry and begin to bridge the gap that has formed between generations. If you are interested in opening your house let us know, and if you've already reached out to us we will work with you in crafting a Host Home that fits your schedule. Thank you all for being attentive to the Lords guidance and know that you have a valuable role to play in the lives of many of these students.
Potluck
This is a Family Ministries event and is open to all ages. This is a chance for us to experience the community that God has placed here at this Church and so please tell what families you know and show up on November 15th for a time of fun, food, and thanksgiving! If you can, bring something to eat or drink and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Winter Camp
We are finalizing details on Winter camp for around the beginning of February with Camp Pondo! This is going to be a powerful experience for the students and hopefully one of deep connections between peers and leaders so we really encourage participation in our youth camps. We want to get an idea of how many are interested so if you think you'd like to send your students just fill out the form below, this does not lock anything in, it just gives us a better idea of how to plan going forward. Tuesday Night Hangouts: CANCELLED TONIGHT!
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
