Yesterday we started our Upper Class-men Life group for Juniors and Seniors. If you're interested there is more info and sign ups below. But it was a great time and we excited for what the semester holds in the realm of discipleship for both our older and younger students.
We have youth group as usual tonight where we will be getting into Acts chapter 2 and talking about the outpouring of the Spirit onto the early Church followers.
NEXT WEEK! We are having our Father Son Camping Trip so please sign if you are interested, all the info is down below. Also THIS SATURDAY on September 16th from 8:30am-12:30pm in the Main Sanctuary at Lake Avenue there will be a Tech training session open for any students, volunteers, or leaders who want to learn more about audio visiual equipment at the church. Father Son Camping
We want this time to be a place where sons and fathers can have a time to retreat together. There is going to our first annual father son flag football tournament and our “who is the strongest” competition at our retreat. There will be a devotion at night where we will have time to worship together as a family and speak life into the lives of the sons and fathers in our Lake ave church community. Junior/Senior Life Group
We will be starting a life group for Juniors and Seniors in High school that will be hosted at Bob's house from 7-9pm every other Tuesday starting on September 12th. This will be a time for the upperclassmen to connect and live life with each other. It will be at this address: 333 Linda Vista Pasadena CA 91105. Parent Meeting
Many of you attended our last parent meeting and we are excited to be announcing our next one is coming up! September 28th we will be hosting our next Parent meeting and all parents are welcome. This will be a time of sharing, learning, and preparing for the coming year and hopefully this will be helpful to both us in our persuit to disciple your students and you as you seek to navigate parenting in this day and age. More info coming soon.
The Ultimate Bake Off
This month our big event is going to be an epic Baking Challenge. On September 20th from 6:30-8:30pm in the WAREHOUSE! we are going to have our small groups compete against each other in a cake baking challenge to see who can bake the best. They will be judged but prestigious taste testers and the winner will take home a secret prize!

Tech Meeting: Lake Avenue on September 16th from 8:30am-12:30pm in the Sanctuary.
The Ultimate Bake Off: Sepember 20th from 6:30-8:30pm in the Warehouse at Lake Avenue.
Father Son Camping Trip: September 22nd-23rd Overnight camping trip in the mountains. All info above in the graphic.
Parent Meeting: September 28th in the Maple street building room MS 100 from 6-8pm informational meeting with all parents at Lake.
Reoccuring:
These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night Hangouts: Every Tuesday in the Warehouse from 5pm to 7pm. Middle-school, High-school and Young adults will be welcome to join and play sports intergenerationally.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
