Hello families,
TOMORROW is the Night of Worship!
All the information you need is in the image above but we want to emphasize that this is an event for Families. We think it is vital that we come along side not only your kids but you parents as well as we each walk our spiritual journeys. This event is a way to bring you parents into the spiritual life of our students and start to build a culture of intergenerational interaction here at Lake. It will be a night of prayer, worship, and speaking the Lords guidance and provision over this next season of ministry.
We will have continual worship and different prayer activities availabe throughout the night. So please join us tomorrow, Wednesday (8/16) from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Warehouse at Lake Avenue. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Help!
Finally, this is a call to anyone who might have, or know of someone who has, extra furniture, rugs, bookshelves, couches, and the like. We want our facilities to be welcoming and open to every unique and individual kid, but that is going to take some transformation. If we are going to do what we envision we are going to need all the help we can get! So message or call Rufus or Wesley (contacts to the right) and let us know if you have anything available.

Events to remember!
Night of Worship: August 16th in the Warehouse. From 6:30-8:30pm we will be kicking off our Fall semester with a night of worship and prayer. Parents are invited to come as well.
Fall Fellowship Kick Off: August 20th outside the Main sanctuary on the patio right after church at 11:00am. There will be snacks, games, and information on all events and programs for the coming season.
Reoccuring:
These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night basketball: Every Tuesday in the Lake Avenue Gym from 5pm to 7pm. Middle-school, High-school and Young adults will be welcome to join and play sports intergenerationally.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
