Hello Families!
We hope you are doing good,
I want to first say a big thank you to all our student leaders from the high-school group that have stepped up to help lead small groups, worship, and even audio visual support. We have seen relationships forming and growth being fostered and we are so grateful for the courage of these student leaders who step outside their comfort zone to make our youth group a better space.
Now there are a few events coming up we are excited for! This Saturday (22nd) we have PARK DAY. It will be a day of Hanging out at Victory Park. We will be near the main south parking lot at 11am and hang out till 4pm, we will have hot dogs and burgers as well as sports, card games, and more. If you plan on going go ahead and put your name down in the sign up sheet and if you can bring anything like snacks, games, drinks, utensils, cups, and all that there is a spot to put what thing you plan on bringing.

Finally, we want to announce that we will NOT be having youth program for the first TWO WEEKS of August. We want this ministry to have direction and vision and so us student ministry staff will be taking some time to retreat and ask the Lord and each other where this ministry is going. We plan on coming back with passion and drive and a we know a lot of big things are coming so we want to make sure we are being attentive to the Spirit and giving into his leadership.
That is still in the future though and for now you can take a look at what events are coming up below and see all the details on things like Beach Day at the end of the month.

Events to remember!
Park Day: July 22nd (Saturday) we will be going to Victory Park from 11am to 4pm. Bring your family and hang out, we will have hot dogs and burgers and drinks as well as games like volleyball, soccer, and spikeball. It will be a fun time to chill and relax together!

Beach Day: On July 29th we have Beach Day! At Dockweiler Beach (12000 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293). From 10am-6pm. We will meet near the Lifeguard tower 54. Please bring some snacks and smores, we will be having a Bonfire!

These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night basketball: Every Tuesday in the Lake Avenue Gym from 5pm to 7pm. Middle-school, High-school and Young adults will be welcome to join and play sports intergenerationally.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
