Hello Families!
We made it!
Summer Camp and VBS are finished and we want to give a big THANK YOU to all the people that helped make it happen. If you helped volunteer, serve, or even pack your kids bags you made this happen and we are so thankful we got to experience it together.
Now there is something we want to emphasize going forward in our youth group and the it is that we want this to be a family. We want our kids to see each other as brothers and sisters and for Lake Avenue to be a Home for them. We hae been dwelling on Ephesians 4:1-16 and our prayer is that this youth group would have unity as the body of Christ. This is a body that is encourageing, uplifting, humble, loving, and chases after Jesus. That's what we want these kids to want and we are already seeing the beginning of it in little ways!
We want you to be a part of this and so if you want to help volunteer, if you want to open your house to the kids, or if you want to give towards our events please just email us and let us know. We are currently in need of some rugs, couches, and pillows as we try to transform parts of the youth room so if you've got something hit us up.
Finally, if we want to be a family we have got to do things together so check out our upcoming events below and we hope to see you at each one!

Events to remember!
Park Day: July 22nd (Saturday) we will be going to Victory Park from 11am to 4pm. Bring your family and hang out, we will have hot dogs and burgers and drinks as well as games like volleyball, soccer, basketball, and spikeball. It will be a fun time to chill and relax together!
Beach Day: On July 29th we will be going to the BEACH together with the rest of Lake Avenue. Details are still being decided so put it in your calendar for now and we'll tell you more later, hope to see you there!
Reoccuring
These are the events happening every week.
Tuesday Night basketball: Every Tuesday in the Lake Avenue Gym from 5pm to 7pm. Middle-school, High-school and Young adults will be welcome to join and play sports intergenerationally.
Wednesday Nights: 6:30pm in the Warehouse and 8:30pm pick up in the warehouse. Games, worship, and small groups.
Sunday Mornings: 9:30am in the Warehouse and hangout as long as you want, we play games, have worship and have a sermon.
